Chaper Indian Masular dystrophy Assciation
has jurisdiction in Punjab, Haryana and
Chandigarh. They met to crack jockes sing-songs,
recite poetry and narrate funny anecdotes
at the 3rd Annual "Our Picnic"
at Rose Gardent in Chandigarh on 31st
October 1999. The picturesque gardens
with lush green lawns, flowering trees
tall, singing fountains and rose plants
provided a perfect backdrop to the high
spirits of the MD's who wished that the
day could be longer.
Seven
of our DMD children could not make it
because of reasons of poor health. We
all missed them. Those who participated
are Gurbir Singh, Bipan Kaushal, Swaranjit
Singh, Suman Gupta, Cahnder Mohan, Jai
Kamal Gupta, Vijay Kapoor,

Neeraj Sharma, Sanjana Goyal, Atul Goyal, Vipul
Goyal, Vijay Kumar, Govinder Kumar, Master Sood,
Sumeet Singh. In all, about eighty people attended
the picnic.
Dr.
Akshay Anand a scientist in the Neurology Dept.
P.G.I. and promised all help to the MD members.
These
contributed Rs. 500/- each. Thank you sirs.
